Logistics, Warehouse & Despatch
With extensive warehousing and despatching facilities at our Head Quarters in Cardiff and fifteen further forward stock locations, we at Vista Retail Support have the ability to cope logistically with all sizes of client requirements, from the small to the largest opportunities.
Inventory and locations
We cannot stress the importance of accurate EPoS inventory information and it’s marriage to our customer’s locations.
By getting a full understanding of what is where, we can ensure we locate the appropriate EPoS and Back Office spares for the contract, hence are able to meet the service levels. We also are able to factor in the correct spares to meet spares loop requirements by agreeing with you some figure of metrics for calls.

Warehousing
Vista can provide secure warehousing facility for client equipment for the duration of any project. All equipment will be serial number tracked, where appropriate, on our systems from the time of receipt through to delivery to the client’s store. Vista provide regular reports on utilisation and current status of stock during the project and are happy to facilitate regular client audits.
Goods receipt management includes the following core areas;
- Goods receipt & audit
- Courier sign-off
- Scan consignment details onto asset system
- Allocate location reference and palletise
- Place in allocated storage bay pending onward processing
- Upon receipt, all equipment is carefully unloaded, separated by type and checked against the consignment note
- All items are scanned into the system against the expected consignment reference by equipment type
- All units are palletised, shrink-wrapped and labelled with the customer name as reference
- EPoS equipment is then placed in secure storage ready to allocate to Build Process as per the project schedule
