Project Management

At the onset of any project we at Vista Retail Support assign one of our dedicated Project Managers to the new customer project. Our Project Manager will be directly responsible for ensuring the successful and on time delivery of all services that we have contracted to you our valued client. Throughout the implementation of the project Vista will manage all aspects of the project delivery. Our Project Manager and his supporting team work to the best-practice (Prince2) industry standards, so you can rest assured that your project as with all of our projects will be carefully scheduled to ensure the most effective take-up. As required Vista will also work in strategic partnership with you to plan the most effective manner in which training programmes can be implemented.

From the initial project meeting our project manager will,

· Meet with you & your personnel to confirm the scope of the project

· The Vista Project Manager will ensure that all requirements are fully understood

· The Vista Project Manager will ensure that the best method of delivery is achieved A Project Initiation Document (PID) will be produced covering all relevant areas such as;

The requirements as outlined in the client’s documentation i.e. ‘Statement of Works’ etc

Full scope of works to be carried out by whichever relevant party.

Scope of works identified as area’s that are not required to be done or are clearly marked as deliverables by the client’s own staff or others.

All Risks to the project will be identified and the Vista PM will work with the client to ensure that there are mitigations against each Risk

Roll out schedules will be proposed based on the requirements and minimal disruption to the clients business

Vista will identify the teams to be deployed to the project ensuring continuity of resources to maximise both effectiveness and quality of deliverable

Vista’s dedicated Project manager will arrange for the Vista engineers to work with the client to define accurate implementation documentation to meet the requirements. These would consist of, but not limited to, the following;

Build procedures

Test procedures for Build

In store implementation procedures

In store test check list post installation (to fully comply with the clients T’s & C’s)

In store manager sign off and client Service Desk approval process

The Vista Project Manager will then arrange with the client for the Vista staff to receive all appropriate training. This will ensure that the Vista engineers and the build centre staff can successfully work through the building of a virtual store ensuring that the documentation reflects the activities required and all issues are resolved before the first Pilot build. Further more the Vista Project Manager will ensure that the plan reflects a number of Pilot sites to enable the Vista engineering teams to successfully implement the processes and procedures agreed before a full roll out is implemented
